On its path to a fully integrated solar producer, Sunova Solar has reached its next target by investing in a 9GW cell production capacity. The factory located in Yibin City in the Sichuan Province of China focuses on TOPCon cell production of 182mm, 199mm and 210 mm cells.

In its 1st quarter 2024 report, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) still lists Sunova Solar as a Tier 1 module manufacturer. While 43% of module manufacturers were removed from the list, Sunova Solar fulfilled the new criteria of providing minimum 6 projects with 5 MW or larger size.

The backing of Munich Re provides project owners and developers the assurance of long-term bankability of Sunova Solar solar modules for 25-30 years.

In its 3rd quarter 2023 report, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) lists Sunova Solar as a Tier 1 module manufacturer. The listing is based on eight accepted projects, which fulfilled their criteria of being larger than 1.5 MW and financed by at least six different banks non-recourse.

With its new customer centric website, Sunova Solar makes it easy to find the right product for each application. Additionally, Sunova has renamed its modules to Zosma™ for its PERC technology and Tangra™ for its TOPCon technology.
