Sunova Solar still listed as Tier 1 module manufacturer by BNEF

In its 1st quarter 2024 report, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) still lists Sunova Solar as a Tier 1 module manufacturer. While 43% of module manufacturers were removed from the list, Sunova Solar fulfilled the new criteria of providing minimum 6 projects with 5 MW or larger size.

Wuxi 19.02.2024 – Sunova Solar is proud to inform its customers, partners and those who want to become such in the future, that we remain listed as Tier 1 player by Bloomberg in their 1st quarter 2024 report which came out this Monday.

William Sheng, CEO of Sunova Solar comments: “Becoming a Tier 1 player in Q3 last year was our first major milestone. Staying Tier 1 under the new more stringent condition of having to provide 5 MW or larger projects truly shows that customers and financial institution trust in Sunova Solar. Our partners and their banks are convinced of our module quality and the financial stability of the company. We are proud to be recognized as a company who produces some of the best quality and most trustworthy solar technology in the market.”

“With 5.5 GW of module production capacity operational and further 4.5 GW under construction we are prepared for demand for large scale solar park.” adds Mike Song, Chairman of Sunova Solar. “This is further supported by the cell factory that we just opened beginning of January. Located in Yibin in the Sichuan province it has 9 GW of capacity and enables direct control of the cell quality and the related supply chains.”

Sheng concludes “our customer-centric approach is at the core of our actions. With the increasing demand for our modules for utility scale applications, we see that our dedication to putting our customers at the forefront of everything we do, pays off. We thank all our clients and partners who trust in our products for their world class solar projects. They helped us to Make it Happen!”
